POSITION INFO:

Duties

Accountable and responsible for the maintaining and monitoring of people and equipment safety.

Create, implement and maintain a safe operating environment.

Assist in managing compliance by employees, clients and stake-holders with Safety and Health regulations and related internal Policies and Procedures.

To monitor operational activities on sites and Head Office.

Implement, enhance and maintain occupational safety, health, hygiene, security & environmental programs within the parameters of legal requirements, ISO & best practices.

Requirements

Grade 12 certification

3 Years relevant Mining / Process / Engineering experience

Driverâ€™s license

COMSOC I & II and or SAMTRAC

OSHAS 18 000+

IT IS / Train the Trainer

Accident investigation (ICAM/RCAT/SCAT)

First Aid

Registration with a relevant recognised professional body

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Valid South African Passport (position only open to South Africans)

Willing to receive COVID vaccination

Willing to spend a significant period away from home (due to COVID uninterrupted period of up to one year away from home)
