Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance in line with industry, government, and international standards. This role requires hands-on experience in safety management, training, and compliance auditing within field environments such as construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs.
- Conduct risk assessments, and hazard identification, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, and local, and international safety regulations.
- Deliver hands-on HSE training and develop training materials.
- Perform safety audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend preventive measures.
- Prepare detailed safety reports and presentations for management.
- Collaborate with teams at all organizational levels to ensure adherence to HSE policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, EHS laws, and industry best practices.
- Hands-on field safety experience in high-risk industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and training delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with compliance audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions in response to safety incidents.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and ensure compliance.
