SUMMARY:
Our client in Potchefstroom, North West is looking for a qualified and SACPCMP Registered Construction Health and Safety Manager (CHSM) to join their professional team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Qualified Construction Health and Safety Manager
• Relevant qualification required
• Thorough understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Construction Regulations
• Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
• Review and evaluate safety documentation and project specific health and safety plans
• Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Investigate incidents and compile detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all safety related activities and communications
• Beneficial certificates / training of HIRA, Incident Investigations, Legal Liability, Construction Regulations, First Aid Level 1 / Basic Live Support, Fire Fighting Level 1 (ALL CERTIFICATES MUST BE VALID AND NOT EXPIRED UNTIL 2026)
