Our leading client in the FMCG space is looking to hire an experienced Safety Manager professional. The successful incumbent will be responsible for driving a safe environment management system as per company guidelines. Driving safety programs conforming to relevant statutory requirements and actively promote safety culture, making the company non-industrial and a safe working place. Apply Now ?

POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

Must have a minimum of 5 to 8 years Safety Management experience.
Must come from a multinational environment.
Advantageous if you come from an FMCG industry.
Must have experience in both industrial & non-industrial environments would be advantageous.

Duties include:

To create and maintain positive safety culture in both non-Industrial and Industrial sites.
Manage internal safety fundamentals to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Development and execution of the safety roadmap strategy to ensure that all non-Industrial and Industrial sites.
Collaborate with management to develop corrective actions, implement safety practices and guidelines, and escalate safety concerns.
Perform and analyse risk assessments to assist in creating new safety concepts so tasks are completed in a safe manner.
Creating, documenting, and presenting safety training materials to organization’s trainers.
Lead monthly Industrial and non-industrial site communication meetings.
Develop, review, and improve standard operating procedures around new and existing job tasks that provide employees with the safest way to conduct the job.
Ensure 100% compliance of permit to work system.
Act as a non-Industrial and Industrial site and ensure that the regulatory requirements regarding safety are complied.
Regularly review and familiarise with all applicable legislation and standards and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification – Degree in Safety Management or any related qualification.
