Safety Officer

SUMMARY:
Requirements:

• SACPCMP Registered (Proof of registration required)
• Relevant HSE Officer Qualification, including:
• SAMTRAC
• SHE Representative Training
• HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment)
• Incident Investigation Training
• Fall Protection Planner
• First Aid Level 1
• Fire Fighting Training
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a construction safety role
• Strong knowledge of OHS Act and construction regulations
• Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills

• Conduct site safety audits and inspections
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with legal and company safety standards
• Conduct incident investigations and compile reports
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks
