A well‑established construction and mining services operation is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to support site‑based projects in Rustenburg.
The role focuses on enforcing safety standards, managing risk, and promoting a culture of safe work practices across construction and mining‑related operations.
This position is suited to a hands‑on Safety Officer who is confident working on active sites and engaging with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor site health and safety systems
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits
• Ensure compliance with OHS legislation and regulations
• Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks
• Investigate incidents and manage corrective actions
• Maintain safety reports, registers, and documentation

• Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (SAMTRAC / NEBOSH or similar)
• 3–7 years’ safety experience in construction or mining environments
• Strong working knowledge of OHS legislation
• Confident communication and reporting skills
