We are currently seeking a proactive Safety Officer to develop, implement, and monitor Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) policies to help maintain a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace. If you are confident in enforcing safety standards and passionate about building a strong safety culture, this could be the opportunity for you. Experience Required • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Safety Officer • 4 years' experience will be advantageous Qualifications • National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) • SAMTRAC or NEBOSH certification • Qualified Accident & Incident Investigator (advantageous) Computer Skills • Intermediate MS Office proficiency Key Responsibilities • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative safety measures • Monitor and assess hazardous or unsafe working conditions • Ensure all tools and equipment comply with safety regulations • Prepare and implement Safety & Health Plans • Maintain awareness of active and developing risk situations • Deliver training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety communications • Provide after-hours standby support when required Key Competencies • Strong communication and reporting skills • Problem-solving and critical thinking ability • High attention to detail • Leadership presence and confidence • Ability to perform well under pressure • Ability to influence and build a positive safety culture Apply Now: Send your CV to -int.co.za
