SUMMARY:
3 month Contract Position for Safety Officer for a Project in Northam, Limpopo

POSITION INFO:
An Engineering and Construction company is looking for Safety Officer for a 3 month project in Northam. 

Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience as a Safety Officer. Experience within Engineering and Construction industry. Registered with SACPCMP. SAMTRAC. Risk Assessment and Legal Liability Training. Computer literate.

Duties: Compliance with OHSA. Observe and enforce code of practices and instructions, procedures, directives and permissions. Providing and maintaining a safe working environment. Identify hazards and assess the risks. Report contraventions and inspect workplaces and machinery. Investigate any incident or accident. Keep records save and available for inspections. Assist with internal audits. PPE Management. Monthly Safety Meetings. Legal Appointments.
