SUMMARY:
South African based Mining Firm is Offering an opportunity to a Safety Officer with 8 years’ experience to be part of their prestigious team.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements

 The Safety Officer is responsible for coordinating and conducting safety inspections, incident/ accident investigations, monitoring legal compliance and implementing safety initiatives in the workplace and will report to the Chief Safety Officer Risk Management and Systems

  Qualifications:

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in in Safety and Risk Management
• SAMTRAC/COMSOC
• Blasting Certificate for schedule mines
• First aid certificate
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Min 3 years experience in mining as an Operations Supervisor
