POSITION INFO:

Our client in the construction industry is seeking a SACPCMP Registered Safety Officer on contract basis in Sandton.  Depending on the client, the contract will be extended accordingly.

Job Title: Safety Officer (SACPCMP)

Geographical area: Sandton, Johannesburg  

Salary range: R16 000.00 – R 18 000.00 pm

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and improving the health and safety plans, programmes, and procedures in the workplace.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
• Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigating workplace accidents.
• Reporting on OHS-related activities
• Safety File management

 Minimum qualifications and experience:

• SACPCMP Registered
• 3-5 years in Safety Officer position
• Relevant NOSA training or National Diploma in Safety Management
• Clear criminal record
• Available to start immediately
