SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining Contractor industry has a safety officer position vacant

POSITION INFO:
The requirements for this position is:

• SAMTRAC 
• 5 years experience as a safety officer in a mining environment
• Develop, implement and monitor SAFETY policies, procedures and reporting throughout the site.
• To investigate and report non-adherence to the SAFETY policies to the Site Manager.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate the risk.
•  Ensure that no training expires.
•  Must participate actively in all incident investigations.
