JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accountable and responsible for the maintaining and monitoring of the safety of the people and equipment on drilling sites.
Create, implement and maintain a safe operating environment.
Assist in managing compliance by employees, clients and stakeholders with Safety and Health regulations and related internal Policies and Procedures.
Monitor operational activities on sites and Head Office.
Implement, enhance and maintain occupational safety, health, hygiene, security & environmental programs within the parameters of legal requirements, ISO & best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Grade 12 certification, preferably with a tertiary qualification in Safety Management
SAMTRAC / MSRM / Comsoc 1&2 qualification (one of these qualifications is an essential requirement)
Willingness to travel and work away from home for long periods of time.
