We have an opportunity available in the Nasrec area (Johannesburg South) for a Safety Officer.

Requirements:

Grade 12
Experience 5 years
Safety related qualification
MS Office Package – Intermediate Level (preferred)
IIMS Internal Auditor (preferred)
Working knowledge of ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 (preferred)

Job description:

SHEQ Management:

Total SHEQ management and security of the entity:
Audits and assessments;
HIRA;
SOP/ WI
Incident Investigation – IOD
Safety training;
Contractor safety management;
Plant inspections;
Inductions;
Managing all legal appointments
SHER communication;
Continuous improvement
Reporting
Chairman of Health and Safety Committee.
Risk Management
Permits and Certification
Environmental Management
