SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Safety Officer Team Lead.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Safety Officer Team Lead
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

MVK certification and Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field.
Proven experience in safety leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Duties and responsibilities:

Oversee safety operations and lead the safety team.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety protocols.
Develop and implement safety training programs.
Monitor compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Investigate and resolve safety incidents.
