Outdoor cane furniture company is seeking an all-round Sales and Administration person.
This position is an initial 3-month CONTRACT before permanence can be offered.
Requirement:
- Completed Matric / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Valid driver’s license and car
- Fully computer literate and proficient in the MS Office Suite on intermediate level
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- A quick learner of the products
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Energetic, driven and self-motivated
- Excellent numeric ability
Job duties include, but not limited to:
- Learn the products and services offered, including sales terms, special features, return and warranty policies
- Set targets for the sales department
- Collaborate with marketing department to prepare common strategies
- Monitor sales numbers and marketing metrics
- Calculate business trends like monthly sales rates
- Analyse market trends
- Monitor competition and follow current developments
- Ensure sales are up to date with business targets
- Find motivational dexterity to achieve great results
- Find prospective customers and new target segments
- Manage office supplies, stock and place orders
- Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
- Maintain and update company databases
- Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
- Answer queries by employees and clients
- Update office policies as needed
- Maintain company calendar and schedule appointments
- Book meeting rooms as required
- Distribute and store correspondence like letters, emails and packages
- Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data as assigned
- Arrange travel and accommodation
- Schedule inhouse and external events
