Sales & Business Development Specialist

SUMMARY:
Our client in Randburg in the Electrical Industry is looking for a Sales & Business Development Specialist to join their team 
Salary is R45 000 - R50 000 CTC per month dependent on experience

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field
• At least 10 years of experience in sales and business development in electrical and industrial sectors
• Strong understanding of railway systems including locomotives, traction systems, refurbishments, and rolling stock
• Profound electrical engineering background and thorough understanding technical processes
• Familiarity with industrial automation and energy systems integration

• Actively market and promote the company’s existing product portfolio including refurbished locomotives, traction motors, signalling equipment, and workshop services
• Conduct detailed customer meetings to discuss and promote our solutions
• Prepare and manage quotations and tender documents
• Analyze market trends to recommend strategic product portfolio expansions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, OEMs, government transport bodies, and industry stakeholders
• Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts in line with company targets
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue growth objectives
• Manage CRM records, generate reports, and track the sales pipeline effectively
