The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the various channels within the Group. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills coupled with sound leadership ability and a high level of integrity

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom: Marketing or similar)
• 8 – 10 Years’ experience in Sales, marketing, and Business Management.
• Proven track record of improving sales and profitability within a company.
• Seasoned Professional in Management of National Accounts in an FMCG environment.
• Good understanding of marketing and branding principles.
• Computer Literate in the MS Office package.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Sales Team efforts in Retail, Wholesale and Food Service segments.
• Effectively manage strategies that favours the most profitable and sustainable channels.
• Measure, analyse and interpret overall sales performance
• Determine optimal margins and pricing of products on a weekly basis to ensure profitability
• Compile and implement sales and marketing strategies within the Sales and Marketing department.
• Mentor and coach team members within the Sales and Marketing Department
• Overall management of Customer- and Consumer complaints to ensure effective resolution and improvement.
