JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Respond to client emails and forward onto the appropriate person, if this cannot be answered directly.
  • Process any orders that come through and email the confirmed order to the relevant person.
  • Ensure that the factory has all the relevant information it requires to complete orders effectively and correctly – Creation of job cards with all relevant information.
  • Send invoices and statements to sales consultants/clients, and follow up on payment.
  • Work closely with the company accountant to go through payments received daily so that orders can be released if paid in full.
  • Doing weekly homeware stock take and ensure stock quantity is maintained, as per an internal schedule showing minimum quantities on hand required.
  • Assisting in preparing the appropriate documents required for international shipments. This includes liasing with Freight agents to confirm bookings for shipments
  • Assisting the sales team with walk in clients.
  • Assist with any research/data capturing as requested
  • Follow up with the progress of orders with the factory and inform either the client or sales person if the order will be late.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Update manufacturing schedule daily, based on factory data received
  • Update Sales schedule daily, based on new orders received
  • Create new excel spreadsheets to compare data as and when needed
