SUMMARY:
Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in the manufacturing of Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

POSITION INFO:
Short Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to capture and process sales transactions, assist with product planning, communicate with all stakeholders to ensure that the sales process is complete, and provide quality customer care
service.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning
    • Collect customer volumes and planning information from Commercial.
    • Load packed/ bulk products accurately on SAP and MRP.
    • Draft sales orders in planning and load a month in advance.
    • Provide weekly planning reports to Commercial for input and confirmation.
    • Update and manage BA and MRP reports regularly.
  • Sales Contract System
    • Ensure correct information are loaded timeously.
    • Plan volumes according to the sales planning system.
    • Ensure contract number and correct details are captured.
  • Price Control System
    • Load special prices and complete notifications.
    • Generate and send monthly price notifications.
    • Update customer and sales details timeously.
    • Load customer orders with relevant information.
    • Add all relevant documents to sales orders.
    • Follow a thorough process for Finance approvals.
  • Communication
    • Follow through on deliveries and schedules for Logistics
    • Follow through with approvals sales orders.
    • Provide feedback to the Commercial department or customers.
    • Request relevant certifications and test reports from Quality Control.
Key Competencies:

Education and Skills
  • Minimum of a Grade 12 and/ or NQF Level 4
  • Previous experience with Customer Service
  • Knowledge of SAP and Sage will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Sales and Pricing software will be an advantage
