Sales Administrator - Engineering

SUMMARY:
To Assist the Sales Manager with marketing, sales administration, imports and exports and all related functions

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• To provide support to the Sales and Marketing team,
• Assisting in tasks of editing, typing, correspondence, filing and other administrative duties
• Communications both internally and externally to the distributor network relating to the order process, shipping process and aftersales requests;
• Shipping & logistics planning;
• Ensuring build specs are completed with correct information at all times as per customer orders;
• Maintaining up to date information on production and parts order delivery times for customers and communicating with customers
• Assisting the Sales Manager in keeping up to date with all distributors and assisting with daily tasks
• Attend to customer complaints as needed.
• Maintaining sales documentation
• Preparing sales documentation and compiling of quotations
• Invoicing
• Ensuring shipping dates for products are met;
• Scheduling of meetings
• Assisting in the planning of company events
• Attending to telephonic queries

Skills / Experience Required

Minimum Grade 12/ Matric;

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an office environment;
• A background of engineering/technical components desired
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
• Attention to detail is vital.
