Sales Administrator (Textiles)

SUMMARY:
A well-established clothing manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join their sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer orders and providing administrative support across the order fulfilment process, working closely with the Merchandiser and Production to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Process customer orders accurately and timeously from receipt through to dispatch Liaise closely with the Merchandiser regarding order specifications, quantities and delivery timelines Capture and maintain accurate order information on the system Monitor order status and proactively communicate delays or issues to customers and internal departments Liaise with Production and Planning to confirm order feasibility and delivery dates Prepare and issue order confirmations, invoices and related documentation Coordinate with Stores\/Warehouse to confirm stock availability and dispatch requirements Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve discrepancies timeously Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order records Handle customer queries relating to orders, pricing and delivery in a professional manner Provide sales\/order reports to management as required Maintain confidentiality of customer and pricing information General administrative support to the sales and merchandising team Minimum Requirements: Matric Minimum 1-3 years' sales administration\/order processing experience, preferably within a clothing or textile manufacturing environment Proficient in MS Office (Excel essential); experience with ERP\/order management systems advantageous Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across departments and with customers Remuneration R10 000 - R12 000 ***Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted***
