Sales Consultant – Luxury Fireplaces (Technical + Design) Location: Cape Town (Atlantic Seaboard / Southern Suburbs Focus) Sector: Luxury Architectural Installations & Construction The Role: Beyond Retail This is not a standard retail position. You aren't just selling a product; you are consulting on a high-value technical installation. You will be the bridge between a client’s aesthetic vision and the structural reality of their home. Your core responsibilities will include: • Architectural Fluency: Reading and interpreting building plans to determine placement, flue offsets, and structural requirements. • Design Consultation: Advising clients and interior designers on how specific units integrate into modern and classic home aesthetics. • High-Value Deal Management: Managing a sales pipeline of premium products ranging from R50k to R500k+. • Technical Liaison: Working on-site with builders and HVAC specialists to ensure installation components (ventilation, heat shielding, and gas/wood-burning specs) are met. • Stakeholder Management: Building long-term relationships with Cape Town’s elite architecture firms and construction project managers. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a high-level professional who is as comfortable on a dusty construction site in safety boots as they are in a boardroom presenting to a premium client. • Proven Track Record: Experience in high-ticket sales (luxury automotive, high-end real estate, or bespoke interior/architectural finishes). • Technical Aptitude: You must be technically minded with a strong ability to problem-solve spatial and mechanical challenges. • Industry Background: Experience in Construction, Architecture, HVAC, or Interior Design sales is highly preferred. • Closing Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate long sales cycles and close complex, multi-layered deals.
