Minimum requirements Matric Minimum of 2 years' experience within the sales and retail industry Fluent in Afrikaans and English Valid driver's license and own vehicle OR reliable transport Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays Skills required Professionalism Target driven Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Interpersonal and customer service skills Negotiation skills Strong time management skills Duties and responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, professional shopping experience for all customers Assist customers in selecting jewellery, watches, and related products that best meet their needs and preferences Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive selling techniques and product knowledge Provide expert advice on products, features, pricing, and care instructions Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system Manage customer enquiries, quotations, special orders, and after-sales service requests Maintain a thorough understanding of current product ranges, promotions, and industry trends Ensure merchandise is attractively displayed and presented according to company standards Assist with stock control activities, including stock counts, receiving new inventory, and reporting discrepancies Support store security procedures and safeguard high-value merchandise Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and in a timely manner Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store operations Ensure the sales floor, display areas, and workspaces remain clean, organised, and well-maintained Participate in training initiatives to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service excellence Uphold the company's values, policies, and standards of professionalism at all times Remuneration R 15 000 basic per month IMPORTANT: Applications close 30 September 2026 If you did not receive feedback within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who meet all our client's minimum requirements will be contacted
