Our client in the textile and interior design industry is seeking to employ a Sales Consultant to join their team based in Pretoria.

Requirements: Own reliable vehicle Valid driver's license Grade 12 \/ Matric (essential). Sales, Marketing, or Industry related qualification. (Textiles - curtaining, upholstery & wallpaper) 3-5 years external sales experience. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Experience in face-to-face customer engagement. MS Office - Excel Intermediate Strong negotiation skills. Excellent closing ability. Prospecting and lead generation. Relationship-building skills. Presentation and communication skills. Professional and well-groomed appearance. Self-motivated and target driven. Confident and persuasive. Strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management. Problem-solving ability. Resilient and able to handle rejection. Excellent verbal and written communication. Professional telephone etiquette. Ability to engage with customers at all levels. Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Conduct face-to-face customer visits and presentations. Generate leads and convert prospects into customers. Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets. Negotiate pricing and close sales deals. Prepare and submit quotations and proposals. Customer Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Conduct regular customer visits. Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Follow up on sales opportunities and customer requests. Market and Territory Management Plan and manage daily sales routes and customer visits. Monitor market trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for growth within the assigned territory. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. Administration and Reporting Submit weekly sales reports. Update customer details. Maintain records of visits, demo's, quotations, and sales activities. Provide sales forecasts and market feedback.
