Sales Engineer - Piping & Accessories

SUMMARY:
Sales Engineer specializing in piping and accessories is required for our client based in Krugersdorp

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• ND/BTech: Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying but will also consider Mechanical or Chemical engineering candidates.
• Experience in underground piping for the retail fuel industry will be a bonus.
• Min 3 years work experience.

• The focus will be on Piping and accessories and providing technical support;
• Handling Customer queries and the processing of quotations, tender documents, and project proposals;
• Promote and market products and provide sales and after-sales support to Customer base;
• Increase market share by actively pursuing new prospects;
• Assess the current and future markets of the storage tank industry and develop a comprehensive market and to ensure growth;
• Establish, maintain and manage sound relationships with new and existing Customers ensuring all needs and expectations are being met;
• Identify prospective customers and maintain continuous business with existing customers to ensure long term growth;
• Attend weekly sales meetings providing feedback on sales activities, market intelligence, and competitor activity;
• Submit a monthly sales report by the last working day of each month in a report format that will be provided;
• Provide technical training to Customers and installation contractors;
• Ensure your quotation register are up to date and in good order;
• Resolving all customer queries, issues, and request for information;
• Provide technical support to Customer and contractors;
• On-site visits and technical support if and when required;
• Collaborating and working closely with other departments within Company as to ensure that all Customer needs and requirements are being met;
• Understanding and adhering to company policies and procedures;
