SUMMARY:
Do you excel at building strong client relationships and converting technical expertise into successful sales?

Our client has offices in Bellville and is seeking a motivated Sales Estimator who can read drawings and prepare quotes. Experience in the steelworks or manufacturing industry is ideal, along with strong proficiency in CAD (2D and 3D) draughting.

A valid driver’s licence is essential as it will be required to meet with clients.

In this role, you will become the trusted “go-to” person for inbound enquiries, preparing accurate quotations for a variety of projects and ensuring a smooth process from initial enquiry through to completion.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

Valid code 8 driverâs license COMPULSORY
Matric or National Diploma highly advantageous
Estimating experience in a Technical and/or Engineering background
CAD (2D and 3D) experience
Computer Literate (strong Excel skills)
Strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Confident to handle stressful situations and demanding clients
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well in a diverse team

DUTIES

Meet clients face-to-face and advise on products and services offered
Draw up quote according to clientâs project requirements
Monitor customer trends and follow up if there are changes
Manage client orders from start to completion
Accountable for resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and providing timeous feedback
Manage existing client orders and take on new ones
Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers throughout the year
Contribute to team goals and effort by supporting the team as required
Provide an Express Service as and when required
