  Essential functions:

  • Lead the sales and business development effort across the various businesses.
  • Lead the sales teams across the various businesses within a matrix model environment.
  • Assisting in crafting a technology road map to become a diversified business across Infrastructure product range and market segments;
  • Identify, develop and qualify new business opportunities and drive deals from commencement to execution;
  • Develop the strategy, internal and external partnerships and marketing support needed.
  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers;
  • Identify and prioritize the market verticals that are a best fit for the infrastructure business, terms of requirements, performance and price points;
  • Gain a full understanding of customer sales cycles and provide accurate monthly/quarterly revenue forecasts;
  • Lead and coordinate competitive assessments, determining the strengths and weaknesses of Infrastructure and potential competitors in the marketplace;
  • Conduct on-site demonstrations of the product and solution sets and represent infrastructure technology at conferences and tradeshows;
  • Manage customer relationships beyond the close, to ensure expansion and renewal business;
  • Keep track of closed deals and win-loss performance and share your insights and challenges so the team can move faster, improve, and continuously increase sales.
  • Ensure current disparate CRM systems are aligned to company objectives and ensure effective and efficient use to provide timeous and relevant insight into the sales effort and progress.
  • The Sales Executive will have demonstrated performance in establishing relationships with successful sales output;
  • Lead sales teams in a matrix type businesses model;
  • Development of a sales culture and strategy which reflects a hunger for new business whilst recognizing the need to build long term relationships with a number of key clients;
  • Work collaboratively with Business Unit Heads to ensure we have the right mix of sales people to deliver on the both the culture and sales strategy;
  • Establishing relationships and closing business with a focus on critical infrastructure deployments;
  • Developing and managing a pipeline for sales activities across a multitude of infrastructure solutions;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers; end users and key partners for the expansion of products and services.
  Skills and Experience:

  Essential Qualification:

  • Bachelorsâ??s Degree in Technology/ Engineering / Business Administration.
  • Relevant/ aligned IT certifications advantageous.

  Preferred Qualification:

  • Demonstrated ability and success in developing sales strategies and the successful execution thereof.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading, structuring of disparate sales teams with tangible results.
  • Good technical foundation in understanding technology and communicating the product value proposition.
  • Experience of CRM systems and ensuring they are utilized effectively for aiding the sales effort and providing relevant and timeous insight into the sales effort.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with organised and detail-oriented with follow-up skills.
  • Strategic leadership ability; ability to influence, overcome objections and remain resilient.
  • Strong prospecting skills with excellent closing ability.
  • Experience in locating, establishing and engaging potential customers and channel partners.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, team player, passionate and success-driven.

  Experience Required:

  • 10 + years of experience in infrastructure technology solutions and enterprise-wide sales.
  Personality and Attributes:
  • Communication, both written and verbal, as youâ??ll need to communicate with technically-minded customers and business partners.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Analytical mindset to develop and utilize reliable metrics;
  • Understanding of other, non-technical parts of the business.
  • Cooperation and collaboration.
  • Financial skills including budgeting and forecasting; Responsible for accurately. forecasting and managing a pipeline to ensure you meet or exceed revenue targets.
