Are you an experienced Sales Executive with a strong background in commercial vehicle sales? A leading truck and commercial vehicle dealership is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive sales and grow market share in Durban and surrounding areas.

Key Requirements:

• Matric qualification (postgraduate qualification preferred)
• 5 - 8 years of proven sales experience in commercial vehicle sales
• Existing database of fleet owners and logistics customers
• Strong deal-closing and negotiation skills
• Bilingual – English & Afrikaans (advantageous)
• Valid Code 14 driver’s license with PDP (preferred for test drives & client demonstrations)
• Excellent presentation, communication, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently

Key Responsibilities: 

• Sales & Business Development: Drive sales of new and pre-owned commercial vehicles to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with fleet owners, logistics companies, and transport businesses.
• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor activity, market trends, and pricing strategies.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of commercial vehicle features, specifications, and performance capabilities.
• Sales Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
• Negotiation & Deal Closing: Ensure effective negotiations and closing of deals with customers.
• Compliance & Administration: Ensure all sales documentation, financing, and agreements adhere to company policies.
