Sales Executive (Health Insurance/ Insurance)

SUMMARY:
Sales executive for SA, Africa and ME. Experienced in insurance/ health insurance with strong broker network.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities and duties:

• Develop and implement sales strategies, marketing plans and feedback for retention and growth of supporting intermediaries, brokers, and consultants
• Set and monitor sales objectives, manage the sales team to meet objectives
• Present and negotiate pricing with intermediaries and clients, provide market feedback to the business
• Provide customer service interface and support
• Facilitate professional development of the sales team
• Keeping up-to-date with industry and market developments.

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services is essential, experience in health insurance / IPMI will be an advantage.
• Strong relationship skills with ability to both develop new relationships and enhance existing
• Sales acumen with demonstrable talent for achieving targets, sales growth and implementing new sales strategies in an intermediated market
• Strong leadership, mentorship, coaching and interpersonal qualities and proven ability to lead a team
• Solid understanding of market products and competitive landscape
• Ability to flourish in a small business environment with geographically dispersed clients in a constantly changing and rapidly growing environment with shifting priorities

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Business, Marketing or Sales
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• .  Need someone who is skilled at identifying and building broker relationships, so this person could be a senior broker currently in their role. Business is ran from Jhb, the position demands lots for travel, they need someone who will design the sales strategy building process.  They must have financial services experience, healthcare is a preference not a requirement.  You can look at senior candidates or people that feel that they have hit the glass ceiling.

Fixed and commission pieces to be determined depending on the person.
