SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of customer service processes to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform while enhancing customer experience through smart automation and system integration.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Visualforce
- Build and optimize Salesforce data models, including custom objects, fields, and relationships
- Develop and manage integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Implement and maintain automation using Flows, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder
- Ensure high-quality code through unit testing (75%+ coverage), debugging, and performance optimization
- Manage deployments using Salesforce DX (SFDX), CI/CD pipelines, and change sets
- Collaborate with administrators, business analysts, and customer service teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support and enhance customer service processes, including case management, SLAs, and escalation workflows
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs)
- Proficiency in SOQL and SOSL
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, including data model and security architecture
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth)
- Knowledge of Salesforce governor limits and best practices
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications such as:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Administrator
- Experience with middleware tools such as MuleSoft
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in customer service or Service Cloud environments
