Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
Sales Manager who has experience in the Coatings and Construction industry required at Multinational raw material distributor. You will manage the sales team on a day to day basis to ensure product volume and profit targets are reached nationally. POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Manage and develop all sales activities of sales team. Support and manage relationships with key customers and principals. Manage sales pricing and margins effectively. Work with Technical team to assist in product development initiatives and customer product support. Prepare sales budget annually as required. Drive Working platform. Ensure budget is met monthly and forecasting is accurate for 3 year view. Manage 1-2 key Accounts. Manage relationships between finance, warehouse, customer care and sales team. Market information on pricing trends, availability and opportunities to be communicated weekly. Mentor and coach sales team with respect to core values as well as Safety culture. Support Business Unit Manager. Requirements: Matric. Minimum 5 years management role leading a team. Marketing and\/or Life Sciences\/Chemical Engineering degree. Good understanding of pricing structures and managing net working capital would be advantageous. Required to travel when required. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
