SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity for Sales Manager to assist with achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration through managing the sales team.

POSITION INFO:
Qualification

Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.
Sales and Marketing Tertiary Qualification would be an advantage.

Requirements

Minimum 5 Years' sales experience within industrial ceramic linings manufacturing industry, selling to Mining / Eskom. At least 5 years at management level.
Exposure in a Process Plant would be an advantage.
Good communication skills, aligns performance for success, customer focused, persuasive, quality orientated, builds a successful team and strategic working relationships.

Duties

Ensure sales and marketing strategy and targets are set and managed.
Existing business is retained at agreed percentage and market share is increased by obtaining new business.
Departmental sales performance is monitored and managed.
Improvement areas are identified and strategies implemented for added value opportunities.
Immediate action is taken on non-compliance issues.
All expenditures are managed as per company policy.
Quotations are completed as and when required, sign off on quotes and tenders within limit of authority.
Marketing events and activities are arranged as per strategy.
