SUMMARY:
An opportunity is available for a Sales Manager (Recruitment) to be based in the Parktown, Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification and/or relevant experience
  • Minimum 15 years’ sales experience selling solutions / products in an industrial client base (able to produce a track record of success)
  • 6 to 8 years’ experience at Management level of which a minimum of 3 years must be at a regional level with bottom line accountability
  • Proven track record effectively implementing account management
  • / farming strategies on a regional basis
  • Proven track record of successful operations and revenue generation across various income streams
  • Knowledge of all solution models and ability to create commercial offerings in support
  • Good knowledge of the Labour Relations Act (LRA), the Temporary Employment Services (TES) industry, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Bargaining Councils and Sectoral Determinations
  • Previous Industrial Relations (IR) experience and good knowledge of IR procedures would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Valid drivers’ license with own reliable vehicle essential

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Source new business opportunities on a national basis
  • Offer business solutions that would satisfy the needs of potential / existing clients across all service offerings
  • Collaborate with Regional new business sales, drive the growth strategy of the business
  • Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements, unlock productivity and accelerate execution
  • Manage the implementation of strategic roll outs through planning and documenting key projects and initiatives
  • Understand the volume of sales pipeline and plan accordingly for the business
  • Responsible for all aspects of key accounts once landed, including but not limited to implementation of strategies, training and support initiatives, and growth of the areas
  • Achieve growth by attaining the turnover targets and profit and loss budgeted for regions
  • Insights to the business through analytics and market research as required
  • Networking and collaboration to attain targets
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and Company policies in terms of Labour Legislation and Labour Law amendments
  • Ensure that any required reports are received by Managing Director timeously
  • Responsible for the operational efficiencies and service delivery for all regions
