SUMMARY:
Successful candidate’s main responsibility will be selling of the following properties –In stadium advertising, LED (light emitting diode) and video screens rentals.Will be responsible for seeking new business, sourcing of new clients and maintaining client relationships.Candidate to have a current network and advertising sales experience.

Qualification

  • Relevant Diploma/ Degree.
  • Minimum 3 -4 years professional sales experience.
  • Applicants need solid hands on experience with supplier accounts and working within a pressurized streamlined environment.
  • Have own car to attend meeting with clients.
  • Individual to be able to fit into corporate company culture.

  • Must have a demonstrable track record in delivering against set targets
  • Must have a demonstrable track record in selling advertising products
  • Must have a high current network
  • Must have exceptional inter personal skills
  • Mustcurrently be functioning in environment driven by visible, measurable results
  • Must have exceptionally strong organizational and time management skills

Requirements

  • Ability to meet quarterly targets
  • Must have a proven sales advertising track record
  • Understanding of the dynamics of sport and entertainment with emphasis on South African football, rugby, cricket and music
  • Good communication skills with staff and customers at all levels are prerequisites to be successful in this critical position.
  • Corporate contacts and relationships on all levels
  • Be willing to work under pressure
  • Must have exceptional client relationship skills
  • Self-motivated challenge oneself by setting high targets for work deliverables regardless of the amount of supervision offered
  • Sound judgement

Duties

  • Identification of business opportunities and potential new client’s leads from a variety of sources, in line withthe commercial properties (in-stadium advertising, LED (light emitting diode) and video screens rentals).
  • Creating and transforming lead generation platforms into qualified sales.
  • Cold call to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Achieve set revenue targetsand set profit margins on a monthly basis.
  • Extensive client relationship management across all levels within the external environment specificfocus on senior strategic individuals.
  • Engaging external stakeholders with business development intents.
  • Submit weekly and/or monthly lead generation reports, contact reports, progress status reports and forecaststo the Head of Divisions.
  • Attend weekly sales meeting, provide input and feedback on new and existing opportunities.
  • Identifying innovative sales platforms/techniques
  • Managing client expectations to ensure client retention
  • Implementation of client retention strategies
  • Expansion of existing client databases
  • Managing internal relationships to ensure delivery of client expectations
  • Provide efficient report and feedback to relevant stakeholders. Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Must interface with senior executives across various industries
  • Expert in selling advertising
  • Be willing to work after hours and during event weekends.
