SUMMARY:
Engineering Underwriter experienced in new Business Development/Sales
POSITION INFO:
Our client, who is a leading Engineering Underwriting Insurance business with an international footprint, is looking for an experienced Engineering Underwriter with strong sales/business development experience to join their team.
This position is ideal for an individual who has a passion for the Insurance industry and a strong need to contribute towards the success of a company who supports their staff by ensuring they have what they need to be successful. Reporting directly the CEO, you will be adding value to the business by focussing on the growth of the companies’ South African business as well as expanding their African footprint, whilst maintaining existing clients both nationally and internationally.
This role requires you to have strong Engineering insurance knowledge, an Engineering Degree or similar Engineering qualification (would be preferred but not essential), Microsoft office proficiency, a minimum of 3 year’s on-site management/supervision experience and 3 year’s Engineering Underwriting experience.
International travelling into the African continent will be required once it is safe to do so in the future.
