Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
This position requires a sales specialist in mining or logistics industry

POSITION INFO:

• Must be open to travel/relocation
• Must be willing to be based in Tanzania/Uganda for long periods of time/project duration
• Relevant Lift planning and rigging experience is essential
• Sales/Business Development experience is essential
• Experience in the mining / oil & gas industry would be highly advantageous

Duties:

• To ensure that The Company wins as much work and maximizes profitability as much as possible with lifting and material handling clients
• Using technical lift planning skills, assist clients and operations to correctly scope, sell, develop and project sell lifting and associated operations
• Develop a pipeline of future opportunities and position The Company to win key tenders
• Ensure that accurate and "winning" quotations are submitted whenever possible
• Maintain a competitor analysis to assist strategically and for transfer pricing purposes
• Close the loop of financial recons and quotations to ensure that we focus our time on the most profitable routes possible. Ensure this data is fed back into the Quote Calculator and BD support team.
• Develop pricing models and strategies which will position The Company as the market leader for our own fleet and subcontracted fleet
