JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a young dynamic company in the FMCG environment, and they have an employment opportunity for a dynamic & driven Sales Representative. The right candidate will be responsible for actively seeking new sales opportunities. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business in the region.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties (Key Areas of Responsibility):

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Develop new business by using cold calling techniques
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or MS CRM or particularly MS Excel)
Create new business ideas and sales techniques to help drive the business forward
Conduct environmental scanning, organizational effectiveness, and competitor and market analysis
Meet sales targets as set and agreed with Sales Manager
Build up a better customer relationship, understand their needs, and try to make them satisfied without compromising the company profits
Represent the companyâs business policies in various conferences, trade fairs, and networking events to attract more clients
Establish performance goals for each sales area and monitor set goals and objectives

Minimum Requirements:

Proven work experience in sales
Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive level
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the informal sales trade in the Western Cape
Valid Driverâs license
FMCG Experience
