SUMMARY:
Sales Representative required for a division of our large Logistics Client responsible for the movement of passenger vehicles. The role requires a dynamic self-starter with a minimum of 2 years’ external sales experience to acquire new business in the Western Cape region. The candidate should ideally be situated closer to Cape Town itself in terms of the client base.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Primarily new business acquisition for the allocated WC sales area. Maintenance of current customer base within the allocated WC sales area. Analyse market for strategic planning purposes. Liaise with other sales and marketing personnel within the company to work out the best methods of promoting the company. Expediting of orders and feedback to customers. Motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets. Operational assistance as and when required. Work closely with sales co-ordinator for the allocated WC area. Qualifications and Skills Required: Grade 12 and strong basic math skills. Minimum 2 years sales experience. Sales\/Marketing qualification an advantage. Computer literacy essential and fluent in Microsoft Office. Core Competencies: Must have valid driver's license. Enjoy working with people. Able to work without direct supervision. Able to clearly present product and service information. Good personal presentation. Strong reporting and administration ability on Microsoft programmes. Self-motivated, proactive, confident and able to handle rejection. Advanced written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. Self-starter and target driven. Well organized. Meticulous attention to detail. Responsible and reliable.
