SUMMARY:
Our International Client is seeking to employ a Sales Service Supervisor to join their team

POSITION INFO:
General Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting traders in the solid wood division in South Africa and the UK. Full Order Cycle responsibility, including but not limited to order processing, risk management, and order execution.

Specific Responsibilities

Budgeting:
- Creating and distributing trading budgets for traders
- Sourcing budget costs

Order Processing:
- Creating and distributing Sales Orders and Purchases Orders
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and agents through the Order Cycle.
- Adding Purchase Orders to Delivery Management System
- Processing Letters of Credit

Reporting, Trade & Risk Management:
- Managing, reconciling and reporting trade position for each product / tradelane on a regular basis
- Executing hedges, managing and reporting on hedge exposure
- Managing accounts receivable exposure
- Order profitability, including troubleshooting where profitability does not match budget.
- Claim and Inventory fund management.
- Density conversion data (where applicable).

Skills Required

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Extremely good attention to detail
Accuracy
Ability to multitask, and prioritise
Critical thinking in terms of streamlining processes to reduce administrative workload
Knowledge of shipping and ocean freight (desirable)
