Sales Specialist: Communications

SUMMARY:
Functional, technical and sales target ownership of the platforms, products and services assigned to you in the Communications Product Division. Achievement of sales targets by supporting the Vox sales organization to identify opportunities, address customer needs and close sales for your platforms, products and services.

POSITION INFO:

• Complete ownership of the cloud services audio and visual communications platforms and products assigned to you – including optimisation of current solution architecture and functionality; alpha and beta testing of new firmware and hardware prior to company acceptance and deployment.
• Research, sourcing, testing, benchmarking of new solutions to address customer needs in your solution ambit and presentation of new available solutions to management for Vox adoption.
• Productising offerings on these platforms at a functional and commercial level and creation of sales and marketing material for distribution to internal sales organisation and Vox clients.
• Ongoing management, benchmarking and reporting of your platforms and products
• 3rd line support for Engineers and customers with OEM escalations and problem resolution
• Technical specialist with “High touch” customers.  Regular visits with customer technical representatives to discuss new and /or improved solution functionality.
• Customer days and internal events management and coordination in conjunction with the relevant internal departments and external organisations
• Customer retention and upselling initiatives

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Tertiary technical degree or diploma
• 3-5 years Sales experience in an pre-sales / product management environment
