Lodge within a private game reserve bordering the Kruger National Park is looking for an experienced MARKETING & SALES MANAGER to grow their brand and drive bookings
POSITION INFO:
This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who can build a marketing plan and execute it end to end, from campaigns and content to reporting and results. You'll work closely with the reservations team to keep occupancy strong across both properties, so a solid grasp of tourism and hospitality marketing matters here. Core Criteria: Relevant qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or similar Proven track record of growing occupancy and driving sales in accommodation or tourism Strong digital marketing knowledge: social media, content creation, email marketing, online advertising Experience with website content management and SEO Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup Graphic design and video editing skills are a bonus Core Responsibilities: Develop and roll out marketing strategies that build brand awareness and grow occupancy Plan and run multi-channel campaigns from concept to completion Manage all social media platforms with content that stays consistent and on-brand Create content for social media, email campaigns, blogs, and promotional material Track campaign performance and report on key metrics with clear, actionable insights Research tourism trends, competitor activity, and guest preferences Run email marketing and digital ad campaigns to get the best return on spend Coordinate with reservations to promote specials, packages, and seasonal offers Build relationships with travel agents, tour operators, influencers, and media contacts Keep branding and messaging consistent across all digital and print platforms On Offer: Salary: R40,000, negotiable based on qualifications and experience Fully remote position Candidate must be based in Johannesburg or Cape Town The chance to work with a passionate team at one of South Africa's leading safari destinations
