Sales & Marketing Manager - Vanderbijlpark

POSITION INFO:

We are currently recruiting a Sales & Marketing Manager for a company in Vanderbijlpark

Must meet the following requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matric Grade 12, or N3
  • Diploma or Degree (Marketing)
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience 
  • Must have sales/marketing experience in the engineering field/industry

EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a sales or marketing person''''''''s perspective
  • Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement a strategic sales strategy that expands company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence, focused on growth and building strong client relationships
  • Achieve growth and surpass pre-set sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Manage close interface to the estimating department
  • Undertaken own team recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, mentoring and weekly performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Cold calling, hold client meetings and development of the client footprint and increase the client base
  • Present the company  to clients on a formal or informal basis, highlighting selling points
  • Follow the Company’s-developed Sales Journey to ensure that enquiries are approached correctly and that the Company  stands the best chance possible of securing the project execution
  • Obtain a detailed needs analysis and an in-depth understanding of the customer requirements – technically, commercially, schedule, etc.
  • Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs.
  • Assist in generating client quotations.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms.
  • Negotiating and closing deals
  • Offering after-sales support services
  • Administering client accounts
  • Assist sales team with the weekly Sales planning and reports.
  • Recording and maintaining client enquiries, status of enquiries, strategies on closing deals, successful sales and all contact data.
  • Co-ordinating sales projects, roadshows and initiatives, attending trade shows and other potential marketing events.
  • Manage Company’s  Linkedin Profile
  • Manage and develop Company’s Website
  • Achieve open communication and a good relationship development with the Company’s  Management team
  • AD HOC Duties

The position is permanent (3 month probation period)

Salary is between R60 000.00 to R80 000.00 per month depending on experience
