SUMMARY:
Our client in Meadowdale is looking for a strong Sales and Marketing Manager to join the team

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, Implement and Manage the Departmental
Strategy for long term sustainability and growth
• Supervision and development of Regional Sales Staff
• Development and implementation of marketing strategy
• Ensure that the necessary Safety, Health & Environmental Management
systems that minimizes the risk of injury to persons, damage to property
and harm to the environment, is in place, by ensuring compliance to South
African Legislation, OSHACT and Company Standards.
• Establish & maintain a full, capable & functional staff compliment
• Conduct and manage sales to Key customers within region
• Reporting on and delivery of budgetary requirements
• Provide Customer Liaison
• Monitor and oversee Sales Team and ensure allocated targets are
achieved
• Ensure Customer Credit terms/limits are well controlled
• Provide General office and staff supervisory support.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification – Sales/Marketing Degree or Diploma
• Packaging environment exposure
• Market trends and application knowledge
• At least 3 years in a similar senior position
• Packaging and/or Inspection/Coding market exposure
• Proven track record of leading a sales team
• Must have a driver’s license, be willing to travel away from
home and must have a good credit record
• Valid passport
• Good attendance and time keeping
• Self-motivated team player with a high level of commitment and drive
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to communicate to all levels in the organization
• Strong monitoring skills with an attention to detail
