POSITION INFO:

A leader in the chemical and energy sector is seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical System Specialist / Practitioner to join the Sasolburg team on a short term contract ending September 2025. 

Key experience and qualifications:

Key performance areas: 

Performance and Target Management

• Set and work towards personal performance targets in line with performance agreements.

• Regularly review and update performance goals.

• Ensure work is completed as per the planned schedule, meeting deadlines and performance metrics.

• Continuously track and manage delivery targets (e.g., tons, products, services) as per BU and discipline-specific requirements.

• Assist with Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) studies and the development of maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability.

• Support continuous improvement and asset reliability through data analysis and technical insights.

• Optimize and manage resources effectively to ensure efficient operations.

• Perform tasks in a cost-conscious manner, focusing on budget adherence and value optimization.

• Maintain an ongoing awareness of cost implications and contribute to budget control.
