SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Scaffolding Supervisor to join their team in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Scaffolding Supervisor
Location: Netherlands

Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or in a similar role.
Certification in scaffolding supervision or related qualifications.
Thorough knowledge of scaffolding systems, safety regulations, and construction standards.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to assess risks and implement corrective measures promptly.

Duties and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will ensure the safe installation, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures, adhering to all safety regulations and project timelines.

Plan, supervise, and coordinate scaffolding activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Inspect scaffolding materials, structures, and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Train and guide scaffolding teams on safe practices and efficient techniques.
Maintain accurate records of scaffolding operations, including inspections, materials used, and team assignments.
Collaborate with project managers and other supervisors to ensure scaffolding requirements align with project schedules and goals.
