School Books Sales Manager

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for an experienced School books sales manager to develop and execute our school sales strategies. A key objective will be conducting research in market trends and behaviours to inform and guide the company’s sales efforts. Communication and high-level negotiations skills are essential for this position. Reporting to the National Sales and Operational executive, your responsibilities will includes, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate national sales teams.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets.
• Research and identify new potential customers and opportunities.
• Negotiate and sign SLA with national and regional customers.
• Review and adjust marketing plans.
• Tracking sales data to find strengths and weaknesses.
• Networking and managing large client contracts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a school book sales manager in publishing or retail environment.
• Strong communication and management skills.

• Analytical and data driven problem solver.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• In depth knowledge of managing a high-performance sales team.

• You are a strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Availability to travel.
• Own reliable transport, with valid driver’s license.
