Scientific Associate - EE - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Scientific Associate for a 1-year Consulting Contract. 

Urgent start of 1st of October!!

POSITION INFO:
Job Specification
Research, compilation, and review of scientific material e.g. Professional Information, marketing material, and promotional strategies in order to shape the assigned therapy(s) in an ethical and medically accurate approach
Work as part of a cross-functional, agile team focused on accelerated product launches and launch readiness activities
Ensure compliance and adhere to internal policies, local and international regulations for scientific, promotional materials, activities, and therapy/product-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
Review professional information of products as per the latest regulatory requirements
Review SOPs and guidelines
Provide the scientific input required to ensure dossier submission
Provide the scientific input for appropriate responses to regulator queries raised
Provide guidance for regulatory-related communication 
Provide scientific and medical input required to ensure professional information creation
Develop professional information and patient information leaflets
Liaise with cross-functional business partners
Liaise with external manufacturers
Initiate all artwork components

Minimum Requirements
Matric or equivalent
Tertiary Degree: B. Pharm | BSc. Degree | MSc
Minimum 1-year experience
Medical writing experience
Medical therapy experience
Knowledge of Compliance Regulatory Affairs & Clinical Trials would be advantageous
Attention to detail

Good communication skills
Team player
IT skills an advantage
