JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining sector is loooking for the following services, a Scraper Winch Operator to work in a panel area of mining operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Description of main duties

Effective two-way communications with team members and visitors
Effective panel cleaning and support
Ensure high standard safety in panel
Clean face, including winch and scraper set ups
Clean gully to box in a manner that enables effective logistics ore movement
Support the measurement of mining activities
Ensure that cleaning activities enables the panel operators to blast the panel in the next shift.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Grade 10
Scraper Winch Operator Certificate of Competency
Basic panel assistant maintenance course
Scraping training module
Mechanical/technical aptitude
Dover Assessment

Experience

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Additional Information

Knowledge of applicable laws, standards and specifications
Medical fitness test will be required
