Scrum Master required for a 6 month contract in Glasgow, for a well established tech firm. This role is working inside IR35.
The company
A global business based out of Glasgow, they have seen a dramatic change in their Agile practices over the last two years and are looking for a Scrum Master to help to further embed this into the business. They are a hugely advanced business and technology is at the heart of everything they do. Working from home for the best part, you will work across three separate product teams and will work alongside another Scrum Master (you''re not on your own). Once Covid restrictions have lifted, you will be expected to be in the office a couple of days a week in Glasgow.
The role
The purpose of this position is to make sure the company''s product groups work effectively and collaboratively, with an emphasis on working with both the product/Scrum teams as well as the wider business stakeholders. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies and be responsible for clearing blockers for the Development team.
Key responsibilities include:
** Coach the team on SCRUM with the goal of increasing productivity whilst helping to maintain high quality releases
** Promote Agile working practices including Scrum, Kanban, Lean thinking etc
** Organise and lead Scrum Ceremonies
** Oversee and manage quality, scope, timelines, and deliverables
** Identify key KPIs (quality, value, and flow metrics) and report these back to management as well as identify areas of improvement
