POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity exist for a Scrum Master in the Design team. My client is looking for unique qualifications, unique mindsets who is passionate about the design spaces.

Scrum Master drives continuous delivery by managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficiently.

In the Design team the scrum master will focus on driving the development of design standards across all design disciplines in variety of team and project settings.

He/she will enable the squad to manage delivery and stakeholder expectations.

Scrum Master will enable timeous delivery by managing the backlog effectively,
and helping the teams to focus on the tasks at hand.

Scrum Master will participate in each project definition.

He/she will not simply execute on a project, but will work with senior leaders in
Design team to shape the approach, prioritization and structure of the projects.

He/she is also responsible for escalating risks and impediments to the relevant stakeholders to ensure that delivery quality and timelines are preserved.

A successful Scrum Master is an expert motivator, strong collaborator and skillful negotiator.

Experience with Design is a benefit.

Education and experience required
Matric (Mandatory)
Degree or diploma in a Software or Process related discipline such as (but not limited to) Engineering, Computer Science, IT
Minimum of 2 years of technical delivery of agile software projects OR track record of delivering high quality agile projects, with strong customer impact.

Ability to communicate ideas through drawing, digital tools, prototyping, model making, journeys etc.

Knowledge and skills:
Basic understanding of either Product design, Service Design or Process Design
Firm grasp of modern software development methods
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery
Problem-solving skills – ability to work tirelessly and think creatively in order to find solutions to problems that result in a great customer experience.
Literacy of design tools specific to discipline.
Understanding of the importance of data and insight in defining solutions and ability to use data in decision-making
Awareness of new and emerging design trends and patterns in specific design discipline
